Shakyra is a proud local to Greenville, SC! After participating in a college readiness program —
Bridges to a Brighter Future — she found her home at Furman University where she studied
Sociology to understand how systems work and affect individuals. Shakyra’s love for unity and
equality clarified her purpose: to inspire strength and prosperity in our community through service and solutions. Her passion has led her to be part of the FoodShare team where she hopes to strategize solutions for food insecurity and accessibility. She is thrilled to further serve her community alongside such an amazing team! Outside of the office, Shakyra spends her time with her husband and their two daughters!
