Alecia Brewster is a passionate advocate for children, families, and neighbors experiencing poverty. As the Program Director for Village Engage, she provides educational opportunities, promotes dialogue, and offers avenues for action to tackle systemic inequities in Greenville. Her commitment to community extends beyond her professional roles. She serves on the Tanglewood Middle School Improvement Council, chairs the Greenville Homeless Alliance advocacy work group, and is on the Board of Directors for the Piedmont Health Foundation. Alecia also serves on the national Board of Directors for JustFaith Ministries, inspiring action to address the root causes of injustice. With a Bachelor's of Education from the College of Charleston and a Master's of Public Administration from Clemson University, Alecia is a proud mother of three children: Zora, Zachary, and Alissa Grace.
